Kasigau VillagesKasigau Villages of the Tsavo Region The region of Kasigau consists of the five villages Rukanga, Jora, Bungule, Kiteghe and Makwasinyi. The Kasigau region has about 800 households and is home to 12,000 people. The people of the region recognize and desire a stronger education. The people are multi-lingual and most speak English, Swahili and their native dialect. The people are strong willed and dedicated to their society. The Tsavo District of Kenya faces many challenges in their struggle for a better life. They face a lack of education and those with education find the region has a lack of jobs. The people have many financial hardships and fight poor health. Poor maintenance of the area along with poor infrastructure of this region contributes to a lack of food and safe drinking water.
